Here is a list of new MS Outlook features which professionals should be aware of:

1- BILL PAYMENT REMINDERS

Microsoft has added bill payment reminders to the events which MS Outlook helps people in tracking. Just like package delivery details and travel reservations, MS Outlook will find the bills which are received by the user in their inbox, and then it will automatically add an event on the calendar on the bill’s due date. The reminder will be set for 2 days earlier.

2- IMPROVED MEETING MANAGEMENT

With Outlook, it is relatively easy to just invite people to a meeting. However, earlier Outlook never kept tabs on who is going to come. The new tracking feature displays a chart of invited people and their respective responses. This tracking table isn’t just available for the organiser of the meeting; the attendees can view it as well. If you get an invitation for a meeting and you do not want t attend it unless you are sure that some other people are also attending it, and then you can check the table. The meeting organisers will also be capable of disabling the option of forwarding in the meeting invites. They will stop others from sharing the event of the meeting outside the circle of invited people.

3- IMPROVED TIME-ZONE MANAGEMENT

It is not easy to manage appointments across different time-zones. However, with this new feature, one can create event start times and end times across distinct time zones. This feature is very useful for those who travel overseas frequently. You can enable the option to view many time zones in the grids of the day and week calendar in Outlook for Windows. In order to add a time zone, go to File, click on Options, and then go to Calendar. Scroll down and click on the option to show a second time zone. Label the second time zone and then select the one you want from the drop-down list. Click on OK.

4- BCC WARNING

If you get a blind carbon copy or bcc email, then it means that the other receivers are not aware that you have received a copy. If you want to maintain anonymity, this new updated feature of Outlook is a blessing for you. With the recent update, Outlook is now capable of warning the users to respond to a mail if they were just blindly copied. Therefore, the users can choose to reply just to the sender rather than replying to everyone. As per the official blog post, the Bcc warning has been made available to Outlook for Windows.
