On its annual developer conference I/O 2018, Google has made some new announcements which generally focused on incorporating artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) programs. 1- CONFIRM THAT THE NEW IMPROVED VERSION OF GMAIL IS ACTIVATED

You need to confirm that you have activated the new version of Gmail on your browser. Gmail might already be prompt you to change to the new version of Gmail. But if you are still using the old version of Gmail, then you need to switch to the latest version of Gmail by going to the

2- REMOVE YOUR OFFLINE DATA FROM WEB BROWSER

The next step will be to remove offline data from your web browser. We are providing you some simple steps by which you can easily remove your offline data.
  • Go to Settings option of the Chrome browser.
  • And then click on the “Advanced” display at the bottom of Settings.
  • Click on the “Content settings” under “Privacy and security” option.
  • After clicking on the“Cookies,” then go to “See all cookies and site data.”
  • After that click on the “Remove all” option.
After clicking on the remove all option, you can remove all your offline data.

3- TURN ON THE OFFLINE MAIL IN GMAIL

After removing the offline data that, you need to go to the offline section of Gmail settings. Then click on the checkmark “turn on offline mail.” After enabling few details might appear like storage, sync settings, and security setting options.
  • The storage option will show you how much storage space you are using for offline mail on your computer, which is based on your hard drive size.
  • And the Sync settings option allocates you to decide whether to stock up emails from the last 7 or 30 days with the attachments or not.
  • And the security section allows you to decide to keep offline data on your computer or remove offline data from your computer.
When offline data is still reserved a place on your computer will not be deleted when you sign out from your Google account or when the password is changed. To remove all the account data from your device, you need to disable the offline mail and then again save the changes. And if you choose the option for removing the offline data from your computer or device, then the data will need to be resync after you logged back into Gmail, which might take a few hours.
In research for using Gmail offline, you will also need to open Gmail in Chrome so that it will load the data while you are connecting to the Internet.
