WHAT FACEBOOK IS ATTEMPTING TO ACHIEVE?

With the digital payment features, facebook is allowing the users and businesses to be able to buy and sell products or services to any other person. They don’t need to jump out to the other website or platform to make it successful as Facebook lets you do this without wasting much time.
Talking about the features and services, facebook introduced peer-to-peer and peer-to-merchant transactions on Messenger in the US last year. Facebook’s foray into the digital payments space here as an independent entity is not new as it has expanded its services in US, UK and France. Speaking to the FactorDaily, some analysts state that they believe that mobile payments will expand exponentially in India and China over the coming years.
Facebook will test this work with the online prepaid recharges as they believes that recharge is a good way for the social media giant to test the market. There are no word of a stable release of the feature. But they confirmed that if the testing phase goes as planned for Facebook, payments on Messenger could be a thing soon.
